“Spider-Man 4”: site claims Sony is negotiating a movie with Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire

As Sony continues to try to debunk the fact that Maguire and Garfield’s Spider-Men will be in “Spider-Man: No Return Home,” rumors continue to surface about the heroes’ return.

According to Giant Freakin Robot, Sony is actually planning a 4th Tobey Maguire movie “Spider-Man,” and still wants director Sam Raimi to return as a director.

The first film directed by Sam Raimi hit theaters exactly 19 years ago, on May 3, 2002, and took the term blockbuster to the next level, grossing $ 821 million.

According to the website, the studio was excited after Maguire agreed to return for a small appearance in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” – marking a new professional encounter with Raimi since 2007, when they made “Spider-Man 3”. “.

The reunion between Raimi and Maguire would kindle the flames for the sequel to the original Webhead trilogy.

If this happens, the plot of “Spider-Man 4” will begin after the events of “Spiderman: No Way Home” and “Doctor Strange 2” unfold.

So far, none of this has been confirmed by the studios, and Raimi and Maguire have not commented on the news either.

If that’s true, that would be a great way to wrap up the story of the original Peter Parker after so much criticism of the 3rd film, considered one of the worst comic book adaptations for the movies.

For those who don’t know, “Spider-Man 4” even won its first preview for 2011 and would bring Mysterio, Vulture, and the Black Cat to the Villain Gallery.

Recently, alleged images have leaked with alternate versions of the hero played by Tom Holland. Another image shows Charlie Cox, singer of Matt Murdock in “Daredevil”, sitting at the table with Holland, Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei.

If real, the pictures prove the rumors that have been circulating for months about Murdock’s introduction to the MCU and the existence of the highly anticipated Aranhaverso.

And it seems that some details can prove the veracity of the images.

As explained by a Twitter user, the image that shows Cox sitting at the table shows Holland wearing the same sneakers he wears in the sequel trailer.

Additionally, the image with the three spiders together features a storyline identical to those images leaked in August, in which Tobey and Garfield appear in a scaffold-like metal structure.

Scheduled for a preview on December 16 in national theaters, the sequence will last 159 minutes (i.e. 2 hours and 39 minutes).
