Since Uncle Ben was never present even in the first film of the new “Spider-Man” trilogy, the writers decided to create a romance for Aunt May (Marisa Tomei).

From ‘Spider-Man: No Return Home’, she ended up dating Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), albeit for a brief period.

However, Tomei suggested to the creative team that May have a girlfriend in the movie… and that she be played by none other than Sony producer Amy Pascal.

The information was revealed by the actress herself during an interview with Geeks of Color.

“I had this idea before Happy became a lover, there was a point where I felt like maybe May was… I was like, ‘Maybe she should be. with only one woman because Ben is gone, and who should she be with? ‘And we were talking about it a bit.

“So I really thought about convincing Amy Pascal to agree to be my girlfriend [no filme]. I know. I was like, ‘Nobody needs to know, Amy. I’m just gonna, I’m just gonna be in a scene and you’re gonna be there, and I’m just gonna flirt, you know? It would just be a subtle thing.

Obviously, the idea didn’t move forward, and it looks like Tomei was just playing around with the possibility. So, do you think that would be a good idea?
