The title makes an obvious reference to the name of the feature film and brings the classic instrumental of the franchise with elements of hip hop.

The film will be released in national theaters on June 17.

Created in 2004, the franchise reboots and returns to the big screen after a 2-year hiatus, when the last release took place: “Mortal Games: Jigsaw”.

Darren Lynn Bousman is in charge of the direction, while Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger sign the screenplay.

A sadistic and awesome spirit initiates a twisted form of justice in “Spiral”, the spooky new chapter of “The Mortal Games”. Working in the shadow of an esteemed and veteran policeman, Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks and his new partner are tasked with investigating a series of bizarre murders, reminiscent of the city’s dark past. Plunged into a mystery deeper than it seems, Zeke finds himself at the center of a morbid game.

Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock and Max Minghella star in the feature film.

The “Espiral” Message: Listen to “Spiral,” a horror theme song derived from “Mortal Games” first appeared on CinePOP.
