Stacy Title, director of ‘Never Say Your Name’ terror, dies at 56

Director Stacy Title, who recently directed the horror “Never Say Your Name”, has died at age 56 after battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

The title also directed ‘Death in a Black Dress’ (1999) and ‘Hood of Horror‘ (2006), which starred Snoop Dogg.

She was nominated for an Oscar for her short film ‘Down on the Waterfront’, released in 1994.

“I don’t want to die, but it will happen someday,” the filmmaker told THR in September 2018. “But until then, I want to live and achieve – doing things that I love and that will be part of my legacy. . I don’t want to disappear. I believe it will be a beautiful, fun and stimulating process for all of us, and I’m happy for it. I want to stay happy. ”

Actor Doug Jones, who starred in ‘Never Say Your Name’, paid tribute to the director on Twitter, “This is heartbreaking news about Stacy Title. She had the kind of creativity, passion and courage that would never let people say she couldn’t do it. May she rest in peace. ”
