STAR Channel to make “Spider-Man” and “Deadpool” marathon films

Can you imagine Spider-Man and Deadpool together in the same place? It would be amazing, wouldn’t it? That’s why the STAR channel has prepared a special with the films of those heroes we love on Sunday (18), starting at 12:30 p.m.

The Superhero Marathon begins with the classic “Spider-Man” (2002) with actor Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, who has an unexpected accident with a genetically engineered spider that gives him superpowers. The channel then airs “Spider-Man 2” (2004) starring Peter (Tobey Maguire) discussing his frustrations and the emergence of a new villain.

Then, the mercenary Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, takes over the lineup. With his unique sense of humor and new powers, he seeks revenge on the man who destroyed his life in “Deadpool” (2016). Shortly after, the channel broadcast the footage from the film “Deadpool 2” (2018).

Finally, Marvel Studios’ hit “Spider-Man: Back Home” (Star Cine Prime) ends this heroic day, starring Peter Parker (Tom Holland) after acting alongside the Avengers.

12:30 p.m .: SPIDER-MAN (2002)

Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is a young academic who has lived with his uncles, Ben (Cliff Robertson) and May (Rosemary Harris), since their parents passed away. Intelligent and with a great interest in science, Peter finds it difficult to build relationships with his colleagues, being shy and because they consider him a nerd. Until, during a scientific demonstration, an unexpected accident causes the bite of Peter by the genetically modified spider. From then on, his body is chemically altered by the spider bite, allowing Peter to climb walls and ceilings, emit an ultra-tough spiderweb-like fluid through his fists and begin to have a “spider sense”, which alerts you whenever there is danger nearby, plus super strength and magnified vision. Initially, Peter plans to use his newfound powers to earn money, adopting the Spider-Man name and participating in show fights. However, by allowing a thief to escape because he didn’t consider it his job to capture him, the fugitive ends up murdering his uncle Ben. From that moment on, Peter decides to no longer use his powers to his advantage, but to face evil, having as his first big challenge facing the psychotic Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), who is in fact the businessman. Norman Osborn after being exposed to an experimental gas which gave him a second personality and great physical strength.

In Spider-Man 2, after defeating the Green Goblin, the life of Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) changes completely. Fearing that Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) is in danger because he is Spider-Man, Peter continues to hide the love he feels and stays away from her. At the same time, he has to face Harry (James Franco), his best friend, whose anger against Spider-Man grows more and more as he considers him to be his father’s murderer. In addition, her aunt May (Rosemary Harris) goes through a difficult phase following the death of her uncle Ben, finding her nephew’s behavior strange. As he grapples with his private issues, Peter also receives bad news: the appearance of Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina), a man who has tentacles attached to his body.

When Super Private Cable (Josh Brolin) arrives on a mission to assassinate young mutant Russell (Julian Dennison), mercenary Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) must learn what it’s like to be a true hero to save him. For this, he recruits his old friend Colossus and forms the new group X-Force, always with the support of the faithful squire Dopinder (Karan Soni).

9 p.m .: SPIDER-MAN: RETURN HOME (2018)

Ranking: 12 years

In Spider-Man: Back to Home, after playing alongside the Avengers, it’s time for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) to return home to his life, which is no longer so normal. Battling petty crime in the surrounding area on a daily basis, he believes he has found the mission of his life when the evil Vulture (Michael Keaton) seems to frighten the town. The problem is, the task won’t be as easy as he imagined.
