“Star Wars: Episode IX”: Colin Trevorrow’s Screenplay Gets a Fan Comedic Adaptation; Check!

As “ Star Wars ” fans may recall, after the release of “ The Rise of Skywalker, ” concept art appeared based on the leaked script written by Colin Trevorrow.

The filmmaker was responsible for the streak, but ended up being fired due to creative differences with Lucasfilm and was replaced by JJ Abrams, director of “ The Awakening of the Force. ”

It turns out that many fans were disappointed with Trevorrow’s resignation, as his script was infinitely more creative than the official version.

Thinking about it, one of those fans decided to create a comic book based on Trevorrow’s ideas and publicized the idea on his Twitter profile.

In the caption he wrote:

“Hey, Star Wars fans. I was working last year on a comedy adaptation based on Colin Trevorrow’s screenplay for Episode IX, titled “Duel of the Fates”. I would love you to take a look! (When completed, there will be 7 editions in total). I hope you like!”

Released in 2019, “ The Ascension Skywalker ” had the worst approval rating of the entire saga, registering just 52% on Rotten Tomatores. Just behind are “The Phantom Menace” (53%) and “The Attack of the Clones” (65%).

Despite this, the result of the saga has raised US $ 1.058 billion worldwide, on a budget of US $ 275 million.
