‘Stranger Things’: Robert Englund joins the cast of season 4

According to Bloody Disgusting, Robert Englund, who brought the legendary Freddy Krueger from the original “Nightmare on Elm” franchise to life, has joined the cast of the fourth season of “Stranger Things.”

The actor will play Victor Creel, a deranged and intimidating man imprisoned in a mental hospital because of a violent murder in the 1950s.

Recalling that the 4th season is only scheduled for the end of 2021.

The series was created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, who have already revealed that they have a plan to end production in the fourth or fifth season.

In a small town, a group of children find themselves facing a secret government experiment, which opens the portal to another dimension, called the “inverted world”. The boys then begin their own investigations, which lead them to an extraordinary mystery involving supernatural forces and a very, very strange little girl.

The cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbor, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery.
