‘Subject to change’: JJ Abrams to produce new thriller series for HBO Max

According to THR, JJ Abrams, through his production company Bad Robot, will produce “Subject to Change,” a new thriller series developed by HBO Max.

The plot will follow a desperate student who takes part in a clinical test that launches a crazy, tense and very surprising adventure.

Jennifer Yale (“Legion“) will be the showrunner of the series.

“It’s been a lot of fun developing this crazy story with Jenn. And I’m very grateful to him and everyone at HBO Max for the opportunity to bring this production to life, ”said Abrams.

Yale described the series as “a provocative suspense in which almost anything is possible”. HBO Max has said the production will be “an unexpected journey” that will show the brilliance of its team.
