Films of all types and genres will pack the next twelve months in theaters as audiences increasingly feel at ease returning to these veritable temples of the seventh art. This article, divided into two parts for a better appreciation, is now available on the site. Now, however, we’re going to dig a little deeper into a genre we love and know you too: horror.

The year 2022 will bring the return of some new horror masters such as Jordan Peele, Ari Aster and Robert Eggers. The year will also welcome icons of the old genre such as Michael Myers, Pinhead and his Cenobites, Leatherface and, of course, Ghostface. In addition to marking the debut of a promising name in the genre, the actress became director Olivia Wilde.
