“The Bad Batch”, the latest animation from the “Star Wars” universe, is now available in the Disney + catalog.

However, fans who have yet to watch ‘The Clone Wars’ are wondering if it is necessary to follow the 07 seasons to understand the plot of the new animation.

And the answer is no!

Anyone who has watched the films will understand very well the narrative of “The Bad Batch”, which falls between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope”.

The objective of the episodes is the execution of Order 66, Emperor Palpatine’s plan to exterminate the Jedi scattered throughout the galaxy during the rise of the Empire.

Even with well-known characters from the animations, including “Rebels”, the new attraction was created to support each other.

It’s good to point out that the main characters from ‘The Bad Batch’ made their first appearance in ‘The Clone Wars’, and their episodes may offer more detailed context about them and where they’re from.

But, if you have the minimum knowledge about movies, just enjoy the new animation, then the plot of “The Clone Wars” serves only additional information, but not essential.

Without a doubt, it’s possible to say that the creators of the series did a great job establishing everything you need to know about these Clone Troopers and how they fit into the saga without depending on other productions.

So, are you eager to accompany the animation?
