‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ is now available on Disney + and will accompany a group of Clonetroopers in the service of the Empire after the fall of the Republic.
As the plot will deal with how “ The Clone Wars ” unfold, fans are curious whether the new animation will have the return of well-known characters.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, producer Jennifer Corbett was asked about the topic to which she replied:
“Since everyone on the team is a fan of the saga, it was very tempting to include a number of our favorite characters, but it had to be something natural. Well, I can guarantee fans will see some familiar faces throughout the episodes. We took care to only present characters with a purpose for the development of the story, which was very interesting … You will see that the protagonists will cross paths with old friends and foes.
She went on to speak of narrative responsibility when it comes to bringing a character to a new attraction.
“As much as there are dear characters and so many fans want to see again, we couldn’t give in to fan service. We had a lot of responsibility in creating this story and felt the pressure of the popularity of “The Clone Wars”, but in the end we did a great job, I guarantee you.
So, are you eager to accompany the animation?
