According to Walter Hamada, the director of DC films, “The Batman” will be set in another Earth and not be part of the DCEU.

“In the multiverse, there is an Earth with the version of Justice League with Gal [Gadot], Jason [Momoa] and Ezra [Miller], and another with Pattinson’s Batman ”.

As a result, franchises will not have a crossover and will follow different paths.

Besides Robert Pattinson, the cast includes Andy Serkis (Alfred), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (Charade), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Peter Skarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez- Abraham and brothers Max and Charlie Carver.

The plot will focus on Bruce Wayne developing his detective skills.

“THIS NEW BATMAN MUST COMPLY WITH A DEFINED AGE RANGE. HE IS DESCRIBED AS A YOUNG MAN ABOUT 30 YEARS OLD AND THE STORY WILL NOT FOCUS ON HIS ORIGIN OR HIS FIGHT IN CRIME IN GOTHAM CITY. HE IS BRUCE WAYNE, STILL TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO BECOME THIS GENERAL DETECTIVE.

It was to be expected that this new take on the character might stand out from the clichés of previous films, which often treated him more like a vigilante than an investigator and that only increases curiosity as to what kind of film is up for grabs. Matt Reeves. .
