“The Boys”: Post Shows Another Side Of Jensen Ackles As Soldier Boy; Check!

As season 3 of “The Boys” continues to develop, Amazon Prime has created a Twitter page for Vought Industries, the company that manages the image of the “heroes” of the series.

In its first post, the page features a marketing campaign promoting Soldier Boy, one of the first heroes created by the company.

The interesting thing is that the image shows the character, who will be played by Jensen Ackles (‘Supernatural’), with a military style look fighting in a war.

This indicates that Soldier Boy may appear in the plot with more than one uniform, as behind-the-scenes footage previously showed Ackles in a costume similar to the comic book version.

Probably, it could be that the series brings some scenes of flashbacks from wars, showing him in battle.

Created by Evan Goldberg, Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen, the series is based on the eponymous comic released in 2006.

The plot takes place in a world where superheroes have embraced the dark side of their fame and will focus on a group of vigilantes known as “The Boys”, who are sent to defeat the corrupt superheroes with nothing more than courage and the will to fight.

The cast includes Karl Urban, Jack Qaudi, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher and Nathan Mitchell.
