‘The Boys’ video reveals new details about spinoff series heroes

Amazon Prime has released a new promotional video for “The Boys,” which connects directly to the spin-off which will take place at a College for the Gifted.

In the video, we discover that university heroes need to prove themselves at the end of their training to become prestigious heroes like the Seven.

“It’s almost that time of year again, folks. In just a few months, the brightest students at Godolkin University will see their dreams come true or fail terribly as everything they have learned in the past four years will be put to the test. Now is the big time for these college heroes, as the lucrative contracts to defend America’s greatest cities are open to everyone.

Agent Carter” showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have been hired to lead production.

The cast will feature Jaz Sinclair (‘The Dark World of Sabrina’), Lizze Broadway (‘Here and Now’), Shane Paul McGhie (‘Greenleaf’), Aimee Carrero (‘Young & Hungry‘) and Reina Hardesty (‘ The Éclat ‘).

The plot will explore the lives of teenage superheroes as they test their physical, sexual and deadly limits, competing for the best deals in the best cities.

The series will blend the college theme with “The Hunger Games,” bringing the satire and daring of the main series.

The pilot episode was written by Craig Rosenberg.

Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will be the spin-off producers.
