The director of “The Autopsy” will reign terror over “Dracula”

According to THR, genre veteran Javier Botet, who played the sinister girl Medeiros in ‘[REC]’, will play in the horror’ The last voyage of Demeter ‘.

The actor will play the iconic villain Dracula.

The cast will also include David Dastmalchian (“The Suicide Squad”), Liam Cunningham (“Game of Thrones”), Aisling Franciosi (“The Nightingale”) and Corey Hawkins (“The Walking Dead”).

André Øvredal, from ‘The Autopsy’ and ‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’, will be directing.

The last version of the script was written by Zak Olkewicz (“Bullet Train”).

Demeter is the name of the ship that transported the Dracula from Transylvania to London in Bram Stoker’s book.

The screenplay was originally written in 2002 by Bragi Schut (“Witch Hunt”) and has been in development for years – with input from several directors over time.

The plot revolves around the voyage of the ship that carries Dracula, in which the crew begins to be brutally murdered.
