‘The Fate of Jupiter’: The Sci-Fi From The Creators Of ‘The Matrix’ To Be Removed From Netflix This Week

The science fiction “The Fate of Jupiter Ascending”, a new work by sisters Lilly and Lana Wachowski (creators of the “Matrix” franchise), will be removed from Netflix’s programming schedule.

The production, starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, will bid farewell to the streaming platform on Saturday, February 28.

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs that she was destined for something bigger. Now an adult, she dreams of the stars, but wakes up to the cold reality of her bathroom cleaning job and an endless series of misfortunes. It wasn’t until Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered former military hunter, arrived on Earth to locate her, that Jupiter began to glimpse her fate from the start – her genetic signature marks her as the next in line. for an extraordinary heritage that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Look:

Sean Bean (“Death demands a turn”, “Game of Thrones“) and Eddie Redmayne (“Seven days with Marilyn”, “Les Misérables”) are also on the bill. Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) was the first guest to play, but declined the invitation.

The production is directed by longtime collaborator of the Grant Hill sisters (The Journey; The Tree of Life).
