The animated musical revolves around Vivo, a unique kinkajou (meaning a tropical “honey bear”) who must find his way from Havana to Miami to deliver a song in the name of its owner and mentor. -loved, Andres. ‘VIVO’ is a passionate story about courage, family and the belief that music opens doors to new worlds.

The film is co-directed by Kirk DeMicco (‘The Croods’) and Brandon Jeffords (‘It’s Raining Hamburger’). DeMicco also signs the screenplay alongside Quiara Alegría Hudes.

Lin-Manuel Miranda plays and is responsible for the original songs of the film, Alex Lacamoire taking care of the soundtrack.

Gloria Estefan, Ynairaly Simo, Zoë Saldaña, Michael Rooker, Bryan Tyree Henry, Nicole Byer, Leslie David Baker, Katie Lowes, Olivia Trujillo and Lidya Jewett complete the cast.
