On its YouTube channel, Netflix released the first trailer for “The Last Love Letter,” a drama based on the novel written by Jojo Moyes (“How I Was Before You”).

The film is set in two different seasons and follows the unusual stories of Jennifer Stirling (Shailene Woodley) and Ellie Haworth (Felicity Jones).

Stirling lives in the 1960s and is married to a cold, unromantic husband named Laurence Stirling (Joe Alwyn). For this reason, she lives an extramarital affair in the company of journalist Anthony O’Hare (Callum Turner).

The other timeline is interpreted by Haworth, who now lives in London and works in a newspaper office, where he eventually finds the love letters written by Jennifer.

Directed by Augustine Frizzell (‘Never Goin’ Back ‘),’ The Last Love Letter ‘is scheduled for release on July 23.
