“The Legend of Candyman”: After the trailer, check out the new NATIONAL horror poster!

Following the trailer, Universal Pictures Brasil released a new national horror poster ‘The Legend of Candyman’.

The film will hit theaters on August 26.

The film follows Anthony, a vocal artist from Chicago who researches the urban legend of Candyman. After investigating the last known location of the killer, strange murders begin to occur around Anthony. The protagonist will play a role similar to that of Helen Lyle, the main character of the original film.

Abdul-Mateen II will be the villain of the new film, and the cast also includes Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Colman Domingo and Teyonah Parris.

In addition to the production, Oscar winner Jordan Peele (“Run!”) Co-wrote the screenplay alongside Win Rosenfeld.
