Through an official statement released by Comic Book, Lucasfilm and Disney + announced that Gina Carano has been fired from her role as Cara Dune in “ The Mandalorian. ”

This is because the actress and ex-combatant posted several controversial and anti-Semitic posts on her Twitter profile.

Known as a staunch supporter of American Republican politics, she even wrote that “being a Republican today is like being a Jew in concentration camps during the Nazi Holocaust.”

Before that, she was ironic that there were no advocacy campaigns for Republicans like there are for blacks, gays and women.

The announcement reinforces that she will not return for the next seasons of “The Mandalorian” and will no longer participate in the production of the “Star Wars” saga.

Check-out:

“Gina Carano is no longer employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her in the future. Your social media posts insulting people because of their cultural and religious identity are disgusting, unacceptable, and not tolerated by our team. ”

Remembering that Cara Dune made her first appearance in the episode “Sanctuary”, in the 1st season, and gained a prominent place in the series, becoming one of the main characters.
