The ‘The Mitchell Family and the Machine Uprising’ animation is now available on Netflix. The production debuted this Friday (30) in the lineup.

The sci-fi comedy revolves around any family who, like all families in the world, has become dependent on their cell phones. But it becomes a problem when all electronic devices take notice and turn against humanity.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the animation opened with 96% approval among international critics, scoring 8.30 / 10 based on 47 reviews (so far).

Originally titled “ Super Conectados, ” the film produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (“ Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse ”) had its title changed by Netflix after acquiring the rights to display Sony Animation.

Michael Rianda (“Gravity Falls”) is directing the production from a screenplay written by Jeff Rowe.

Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Eric Andre and Olivia Colman are the stars.
