2020 has come to an end (finally!) And, with it, a legacy of incredible albums that have turned the past year into one of the best in music. Among the incredible works we had the long awaited comeback of Lady Gaga with “Chromatica” and two surprise releases by Taylor Swift (“Folklore” and “Evermore“, the one nominated for the Grammy of the album of the year). Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Fiona Apple, Bob Dylan, Megan Thee Stallion, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus were also some of the names that have dominated the previous twelve months.

Now it’s time to celebrate the start of a new era – and for that we have separated a list of the most anticipated albums of 2022. We put in our picks the albums that have already been confirmed and have a date planned release or not.

Still without a confirmed day, ‘Certified Lover Boy’ marks the second album in just over a year by famous rapper Drake. Even without many details being revealed – something strange, given that we are already in the month of release – the work is known to have the single “Laugh Now Cry Later”, released there. a few months.

Four years after the compilation “Concrete and Gold” – and a very successful namesake tour – rock band Foo Fighters have already confirmed that “Medicine at Midnight” is coming. Produced alongside Greg Kurstin, the tenth studio album will be released in February and is accompanied by the singles “Shame Shame” and “No Son of Mine” (the latter released today).

Following the release of his 20th solo studio album, Ringo Starr, a former Beatles drummer, has announced a new EP titled “Zoom In”. The brief collection is just five titles, but it already promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year, with contributions from none other than Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Finneas.

Evanescence appeared on our Most Anticipated albums List last year, but the pandemic caused production delays and carried over to “The Bitter Truth” until this year. If everything goes according to plan, chances are we’ll have the fifth album sooner than expected.
