The medieval action film “The Princess”, starring Joey King (“The Kissing Booth”), is soon arriving in the Star+ catalog, and it seems that the production is dividing international critics.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 54%, with a rating of 5.10/10 based on 48 reviews. According to the consensus, “King is a believable enough action star, but he deserves a better realm than this, which is dragged down by an obtuse script and poor production.”

Described as a cross between ‘Rapunzel’ and ‘The Raid’, the film follows a young princess (King) who is much more comfortable with a sword than a crown – and it’s up to her to save the kingdom from the ruthless mercenaries.
The cast also includes Dominic Cooper (“Preacher”), Olga Kurylenko (“Black Widow”) and Veronica Ngo (“The Old Guard”).
