‘The Suicide Squad’: James Gunn criticizes leaked backstage footage

Ahead of the DC FanDome, audiences were able to experience what the characters of “The Suicide Squad” would look like through behind-the-scenes footage leaked by paparazzi photographers.

As it was recently revealed that Chris Conrad will bring Vigilante Adrian Chase to life in the Peacemaker series, fans are already eager to see what the character’s costume will look like.

During a question and answer session on Twitter, director James Gunn responded very ironically when a fan asked:

“Hey, James Gunn. When can we expect the Vigilante’s costume to be revealed?

To which he replied:

Enjoy watching:

“Probably when some idiot hiding in a tree posts a shoddy photo that should never see the light of day when you’re backstage.”

Probably when a knucklehead hiding in a tree takes a poor quality photo that should never see the light of day when we are there one day. https://t.co/gL18AAlFV3

Gunn’s response is hardly surprising, as leaked images or information can damage surprises in any production.

Recalling that the shooting of “Peacemaker” will start soon, and Gunn is already in Canada to oversee the new project.

In total, the 1st season will only have eight one-hour episodes and will be broadcast by HBO Max.

Meanwhile, it’s worth remembering that Empire magazine released a nice behind-the-scenes image of “ The Suicide Squad, ” revealing the featured actors as they posed for the photo with Gunn.

Check it out, along with the first official images of the feature:

Warner Bros. has already had the film’s first test showing recently and, it seems, this new release promises to make up for the failure of the 2016 original.

Journalist Daniel Richtman said on Twitter that the reactions were overwhelmingly positive and that the work was called a “masterpiece” by James Gunn.
