‘The Suicide Squad’: Margot Robbie Says Harley Quinn Is A Magnet For Chaos

“ The Suicide Squad ” will bring together some of the most vicious villains and anti-heroes in the DC Comics universe, including the charismatic Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).

After winning the hearts of fans in the team’s first film and in “Birds of Prey,” Robbie guaranteed that the character would be crazier than the neck this time around.

Speaking to Total Film magazine, the star said Harley Quinn is a magnet for chaos.

“One of the first things I said to the [diretor] James [Gunn] was that Harley is a magnet for chaos. She isn’t necessarily the narrative center of the film, and is sometimes great when the plot points may rest on the shoulders of other characters, but she can be the one that promotes an entire sequence of events. From what I read in the script, I think James 100% agree with me. “

Robbie’s statement only proves that Gunn didn’t feel pressured to include the character in the feature film, as some rumors have pointed out.

Additionally, Robbie also revealed that Gunn was very excited about the way Harley is portrayed in the adaptation.

“It’s always interesting to explore how different directors choose to work with different characteristics of the characters, it gives them a much bigger dimension. James was very excited to show a different side of Harley, still respecting the source material, but it evolves in different ways under the guidance of different people.
