“The Suicide Squad” Reveals What Happened To Harlequin Since “Birds of Prey”

After finishing free at the end of the first “Suicide Squad” and returning to “Birds of Prey”, many viewers were curious as to how Harlequin was captured and sent back on a deadly mission in “The Suicide Squad”.

While he doesn’t give a lot of details, the plot explains his presence in the new movie.

The film begins with a Force X group on a beach in Corto Maltese – and, to the surprise of some of them, Harley is among them. When asked how she was captured again, she reveals that she crashed her car… in a bank.

Unfortunately, it is not revealed how long after the events of “Birds of Prey” this “accident” took place.

Some names reprise their roles from the previous film, like Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) and Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag).

New arrivals include Idris Elba, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga and Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Pete Davidson, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn and Mayling Ng.
