According to Variety, Jai Courtney (“The Suicide Squad”) has joined the cast of “The Terminal List,” a new series from Amazon Studios.

The star, also known for such works as “Spartacus” and “Stateless“, will bring to life the recurring role of Steve Horn, a ruthless billionaire who becomes the antagonist of former naval officer James Reece (Chris Pratt).

The cast also features Riley Keough as Lauren Reece, an elite triathlete and warrior in her own right. Lauren has balanced her career by raising daughter Lucy and providing vital support to the other families in the platoon when her husband James (Pratt) and his SEAL Troop are dispatched. As most SEAL marriages fall apart, Lauren and James have survived with honesty, mental strength, and undying love.

Constance Wu (‘Rotten of the Rich‘), Taylor Kitsch (‘True Detective‘) and Jeanne Tripplehorn (‘Criminal Minds’) complete the team.

Based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr, the production will be a conspiracy thriller that combines action with psychological questions about the cost of pushing a nation’s soldiers beyond what is possible? The Terminal List.

The narrative centers on Reece, who loses her entire Navy team after an ambush. He returns home with conflicting memories of the event and begins to wonder if it was for something. However, when new evidence emerges, Reece discovers that the dark forces are working against him.

Antoine Fuqua (“Seven men and one destiny“) takes over the direction of the pilot episode, with a script by David DiGilio.
