‘The Tomorrow War’: Amazon Prime buys Paramount sci-fi starring Chris Pratt

Amazon Studios has acquired the rights to Paramount Pictures “The Tomorrow War”.

The film is directed by Chris McKay and starring Chris Pratt, who is also an executive producer. The action-sci-fi film will be released exclusively on Prime Video on July 2 in more than 200 countries and territories.

In “The War of Tomorrow”, the world is in shock when a group of time travelers arrive in 2051 to deliver an urgent message: thirty years in the future, mankind is losing a war against one. deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is to bring soldiers and civilians from the present to join the fight in the future. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his daughter, Dan joins a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and her father (JK Simmons) in a desperate search to rewrite the fate of the planet.
