The second season of ‘The Witcher’ continues to boom and now Netflix has hired another name for its cast.
According to Redanian Intelligence, Alastair Parker has gone into production. The actor is known for voicing one of the main characters in ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’, the dwarf Clever, and for appearing in the iconic sci-fi series ‘Doctor Who’.
However, Parker won’t bring Clever to life in the next cycle – details of his role have not been revealed. He joins previously confirmed Rebecca Hanssen (“Lore”).
Recalling that the recordings of the new cycle are not expected to be completed until February 2021, so there is no preview for the next episodes.
Created by Lauren Hissrich, the series is based on a literary saga written by Pole Andrzej Sapkowski.
Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a lonely monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people are often meaner than beasts. But when fate leads him to a powerful witch and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the growing and unstable continent together.
The cast also includes Millie Brady, Freya Allan, Anna Shaffer, Jodhi May, Anya Chalotra and Björn Hlynur Haraldsoon.
