The recordings for Season 2 of “The Witcher” have been completed, but new information is emerging day by day.

Now, according to Redanian Intelligence, the series has hired two new names to the cast: Alexander Squires and James Baxter. The couple will bring young Geralt de Rivia and Vesemir to life, respectively.

The new round also includes the recently announced: Adjoa Andoh as Nenneke; Cassie Clare as Phillippa Eilhart; Liz Carr as Fenn; Graham McTavish as Dijkstra; Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian; Simon Callow as Codringher; Chris Fulton as Rience; and Sam Hazeldine recently announced as the King of the Wild Hunt.

The second year still doesn’t have a premiere date. The 1st season, meanwhile, is already available on the streaming platform.

Created by Lauren Hissrich, the series is based on a literary saga written by Pole Andrzej Sapkowski.

Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a lone monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people are often meaner than beasts. But when fate takes her to a powerful witch and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the growing and unstable continent together.
