The recording for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ has already been closed, but fans are not yet ready to say goodbye to the God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth since 2011.
And, during an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, director Taika Waititi was asked about the possibility of moving forward with the franchise after the 4th film.
In response, he said he hadn’t planned it yet and was focused on finishing the edit of the hero’s next film:
“Who knows? I don’t know if we’ll do another one after this one, but I really feel like we’ve put in all we can [em ‘Thor: Amor e Trovão’]. Every idea, every silly concept, action scenes, new characters… I couldn’t be happier about it.
He continued:
“We’re busy working on post-production, which has only just started, so I’m pretty focused on THIS film. Who knows what will follow?
To celebrate the end of filming for the sequel, Chris Hemsworth posted a behind-the-scenes photo to his Instagram profile, posing next to Waititi.
“We’ve finished ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, and on top of that it’s National No-Bending Day – so I thought this super relaxed shot was appropriate. The movie will be totally crazy and it can be too. poignant here and there. Much love and a lot of thunder! “he wrote.

Recalling that ‘Thor: Amor e Trovão’ is scheduled to premiere on May 6, 2022.
The cast consists of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster / Mighty Thor), Jaime Alexander (Lady Sif), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Christian Bale (Gorr, the butcher of the gods) and Russell Crowe (Zeus).
