‘Thor: Love and Thunder’: Chris Hemsworth’s stuntman complains about star’s physique

After playing a warped Thor in “ Avengers: Endgame, ” Chris Hemsworth returns to the MCU with enviable physique for the recordings of “ Thor: Love and Thunder, ” which won’t debut until 2022.

And it’s not easy to follow.

Double stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton complains that he struggles to build a body as muscular as Hemsworth’s.

During an interview for the Fitzy & Wippa podcast, Hanton joked and said he felt ridiculous alongside Hemsworth, who accumulates no less than 105kg of muscle.

“Luke Zoppi, Chris’s trainer, brings him food every 2 hours. Like chicken, sweet potatoes, vegetables … He consumes around 450 calories with each meal and eats 8 to 10 times a day to keep those 105 kg of pure muscle. It’s ridiculous, I’m not at that level, I can’t be like him.

He continued:

“When people see him they’re like, ‘Wow, look at him, he’s a giant.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, cool’. I called him once and said, ‘Thanks a lot, man, now I have to kill myself to train to be your size,’ Hanton joked.

It’s worth remembering that the Daily Mail released the first behind-the-scenes footage of Thor Love and Thunder, showing Thor (Chris Hemsworth) accompanied by Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Kraglin (Sean Gunn)).

Recalling that the cast also includes Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Christian Bale, as well as Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel.

The Comic Book recently reported that the sequel received a rather curious production title: “The Big Salad”.

It’s likely that the choice of the call had to do with a specific moment of the God of Thunder (Hemsworth) in ‘Avengers: Endgame’: in a certain scene, the hero goes into depression after being defeated by Thanos ( Josh Brolin), leading – to gain weight and be pushed by his mother, Frigga, who tells him to eat a plate of salad.

Directed by Taika Waititi, the new film is set to open on February 11, 2022 (opening of the American Valentine’s Day weekend).
