‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be as awesome as an ‘Avengers 5’

‘Thor: Amor e Trovão’ won’t open until 2022, but it looks like the delay will be worth it for those still hoping to see several MCU heroes reunited.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the feeling behind the scenes is that the sequel is more like an “ Avengers 5 ” due to the large cast and the coming together of several heroes from the MCU.

For those who don’t know, in addition to Natalie Portman returning as Jane Foster, the film will star Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and possibly other members of the “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Recently, Australian paparazzi Kobie Thatcher shared a video showing Groot’s voice actor Vin Diesel disembarking from a plane at Australian Airport in Sydney.

As footage of the footage will be shot there, Diesel may have been summoned to see the pitch … and given the friendship between Groot and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), that wouldn’t come as a surprise.

With so many incredible characters confirmed in the sequel, it looks like this will be one of the larger-scale films in all of Phase 4 of the Shared Universe.

But what does that mean?

After ‘Captain America: Civil War’, it looks like audiences are increasingly expecting crossovers between MCU heroes, and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ could be the start of a new tradition on the big screen.

Recalling that rumors pointed out that ‘Captain Marvel 2’ could adopt the same strategy and introduce ‘Ms. Marvel’ into the cinema, and as the young heroine series is already in development, this idea is getting closer and closer.

In the meantime, recordings for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ are slated to begin January of next year.

During an interview with supplement brand Swisse Vitamins & Supplements, Hemsworth commented on the film and promised the sequel would be quite different from the previous ones.

“I’m very excited for this film because we’re trying to do something very different. In all three films [do Thor], we’ve certainly pushed the boundaries and created different versions of the character and now people are expecting some dramatic changes.

He continued:

“Our work in this direction was interrupted because of the pandemic. But that was good because it gave the creative team time to think of something more elaborate and I think fans will love the surprises.

Sadly, the star didn’t give any details about these changes and didn’t say anything related to the plot.

So we just have to wait for the recording to start.

The Comic Book recently reported that the sequel received a rather curious production title: “The Big Salad”.

It’s likely that the choice of the call has to do with a specific moment of the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) in ‘Avengers: Endgame’: in a certain scene, the hero goes to depression after being defeated by Thanos (Josh Brolin), causing her to gain weight and be pushed by her mother, Frigga, who tells her to eat a plate of salad.

Directed by Taika Waititi, the new film is slated for release on February 11, 2022 (opening the American Valentine’s Day weekend) and brings back Thor (Hemsworth), Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika) Waititi) and the Grand Master (Jeff Goldblum).

During a live with presenter Jimmy Kimmel, Hemsworth revealed that he has read the script for the new feature before and that audiences would love the story.

“I’ve read the script before and can say it’s one of the best I’ve read in my career. I can’t reveal anything, so how can I define? THIS IS [Taika] Expect to the extreme, and he’s doing his best for this movie. If the version I read is final, the audience will panic with such madness. “

Prior to that, Waititi took a live on her Instagram and commented on the development of the long-awaited sequel, saying the plot is much bolder than the previous one.

“[O roteiro] it’s super overdone in the best possible way. It makes “Ragnarok” look like a movie in the comfort zone… This new movie feels like ten year olds were asked what they wanted in a movie and then said “yes” to everything. “.

Recalling that Marvel has postponed all its theatrical releases due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has closed almost all cinemas in the world.
