‘A Quiet Place – Part II’ rallied at the US box office and grossed $ 58.5 million over the long weekend.

The result was not far from the $ 60 million the film had to raise BEFORE the pandemic.

For comparison, the sequel grossed $ 48.3 million over the three weekend days compared to the original film’s $ 50 million over the same period – which is impressive considering the period of pandemic in which we live today.

The film was screened in 3,726 theaters.

‘Cruella’ is currently showing in 3,892 theaters and grossed $ 26.5 million over the four-day vacation, a solid result considering the release also on Disney + streaming.

It should be remembered that “A Silent Place – Part II” will have a window of only 45 days, being broadcast exclusively in theaters before being launched on the streaming service of Paramount +.

The film hits nationwide theaters on June 24.
