“Upshaw Family”: Netflix sitcom starring Wanda Sykes receives funny official trailer; Check!

Netflix today released (20) the official trailer for ‘Upshaw Family’, a new sitcom starring Wanda Sykes and Mike Epps.

Production is scheduled to premiere on May 12.

The series revolves around a working-class black family struggling, in very good spirits, to pay the bills and provide for themselves – even though they have no idea how to get there.

In addition to performing, Sykes and Epps will executive produce the series, alongside Regina Y. Hicks (“Insecure“). Hicks and Sykes also share the work of showrunners.

Kim Fields, Page Kennedy, Diamond Lyons, Khali Daniya-Renee Spraggins, Jermelle Simon, Gabrielle Dennis and Journey Christine complete the cast.
