‘Walker, Texas Ranger’: reboot opening episode starring Jared Padalecki gets official synopsis

The reboot of the “Walker, Texas Ranger” series, starring Jared Padalecki, is one of the big debuts in early 2021. And the production’s inaugural episode has got its official synopsis.

Texas Ranger Cordell Walker (Jared Padalecki) is a widower and father of two who has his own moral code. He returns home to Austin, Texas, after working undercover for two years, to find that there is more difficult work to do around the house.

The CW has released new promotional images for the ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ reboot starring Jared Padalecki (‘Supernatural’).

The reboot is expected to begin on January 21, 2021.

 

Geneviève Padalecki, Jared’s wife, will be his fictional companion and will give life to Emily, the late wife of Cordell Walker who will appear in important flashbacks.

Violet Brinson (‘Sharp Objects’) and Kale Culley (‘Me, Myself & I’) round out the cast as the couple’s children alongside Jeff Pierre, Cobu Bell, Mitch Pileggi, Keegan Allen and Lindsey Morgan.

Much like the original plot, the series follows Cordell, a man who finds his way back to his family while investigating crimes in the state’s elite unit.

A widower with two children, he returns home to Austin, Texas, after spending years in a very dangerous secret case.

With his new partner, one of the only women in Ranger history, Walker will face new challenges and together must become the heroes Texas so badly needed in the contemporary world.
