‘WandaVision’: Marvel confirms nine-episode series
Marvel Studios revealed today (04) that the upcoming ‘WandaVision’ series will be longer than imagined and will have no less than nine episodes (via ComicBook.com).
This means that production will premiere on January 15 and run until the last Friday before the premiere of “ Hawk and Winter Soldier ” on March 19.
“WandaVision” is a mix of TV classics with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two super powerful beings in idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that nothing is what it appears to be. Bringing nine episodes, “WandaVision” begins on Disney + on January 15, 2021, ”Marvel said in an official statement.
“WandaVision” mixes classic sitcom style with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the series, Wanda Maximoff and Visão – two super powerful beings living their suburban dream – begin to suspect that nothing is what it appears to be.

The series is directed by Matt Shankman (“Game of Thrones”) and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Parris and Hahn.
