‘WandaVision’ producer says post-credit scene leads to crazy adventure in ‘Captain Marvel 2’

With the introduction of Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) in ‘WandaVision’, Marvel will introduce a powerful ally to Carol Davers (Brie Larson) in ‘Captain Marvel 2’.

As the show’s post-credits scene made clear, a Skrull tells Rambeau that she must travel to space to meet Danvers, which will lead to the events of the heroine’s next film.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, ‘WandaVision’ producer Mary Livanos brought up the subject and said the film’s plot would be crazy.

“We know this is not Monica’s first interaction with a Skrull, despite her surprise. It was so cool to see Teyonah interacting with the alien … Knowing the universe of ‘Captain Marvel’, one can expect a very crazy story in the sequence. Things are going to be crazier than you might expect and it’s a lot of fun to think about.

As Monica grew up learning about Captain Marvel and the universe around her, it’s obvious she’s interacted with the Skrulls before, and it looks like “ Captain Marvel 2 ” will bring more answers to the past. of the new heroine.

Additionally, she also has to meet Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who we last saw in the post-credits scene in “ Spider-Man: Far From Home, ” when he also used Skrull agents to keep in touch with Peter. Parker (Tom Holland).

Everything points to the former SHIELD director staying in space, and it looks like Monica will be joining him somehow, likely as part of the ‘Secret Invasion’ series.

In the plot, Fury and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) will investigate a cult of Skrulls that has infiltrated the highest levels of authority in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
