The year 2021 promises to make a big debut on both streaming platforms and big screens, and Marvel Studios will finally be able to end its drought, with the launch of “ WandaVision, ” its first release in 18 month.
These are the first 11 years that Marvel Studios has never released a title on the big screen. Originally, the Walt Disney Co. division would launch “Black Widow” in theaters in May of this year.
However, after a postponement to November, the company was forced to postpone its debut until May 2021, due to the worsening coronavirus pandemic.
It’s worth remembering that the last release from Marvel Studios was actually ‘Spider-Man: Away from Home’, which took place on July 4, 2019.
‘WandaVision’ arrives at Disney + on January 15, 2021.
