‘Whistler Camp’: ‘Penny Dreadful’ creator to helm Blumhouse’s LGBTQ + horror

According to Bloody Disgusting, John Logan, creator of “Penny Dreadful“, will make his directorial debut with “Whistler Camp”, the LGBTQ + horror developed by Blumhouse.

The plot, described as a “strange empowerment tale,” will take place in a gay conversion camp.

It is noteworthy that Logan has already won three Oscar nominations, in addition to winning the Golden Globe, BAFTA, among other important awards. His credits include ‘007 – Operation Skyfall’, ‘007 Against Specter’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘The Aviator‘, ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘Rango’, ‘Alien: Covenant’ and ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Street Barber Fleet “.

Jason Blum and Michael Aguilar (“Kidding”) will be the producers.

Ryan Turek will be tasked with overseeing the production of Blumhouse.
