WL! “Red Alert”: Netflix’s Most Expensive Film Makes Brazil Geography Error; Understand!

The most expensive film in Netflix history, “Red Alert,” has already become a hit with streaming subscribers. But the production was the target of much controversy among Twitter users, who discovered a grotesque error regarding the geography of Brazil.

At one point in the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, one of the protagonists discovers the coordinates of a historic relic he has been searching for for years.

According to the plot, according to the latitude and the longitude which appear on the screen, the coordinates would indicate that the object in question would be in a province of the north of Argentina.

However, the marker actually points to a region in southern Brazil, implying that such an Argentine province would be located in our country.

The geolocation error has not gone unnoticed and many streaming users have drawn attention to it.

Check out some of the reactions:

Aren’t you ashamed to produce a film, to put coordinates of Brazil (more precisely in Horizontina / RS) saying that it is in Argentina and, in addition, to launch a forest imitating the Amazon on the stage? ? Phew!

I didn’t know Argentina was in Brazil …
In the movie #AlertaVermelho he showed the map of South America and placed Argentina within Brazil, the location is in the country Brazil and not Argentina. Argentina is not in Brazil

The movie is just popcorn, but these grotesque geographic errors are hard to swallow when you’re in the area.
Tropical forest, in the pampas, and in addition, coordinates of Brazil, Argentina …
