“Wonder Woman 1984” has been the subject of very negative reviews in recent days, mainly from the public. However, a recent post from the CBR website did another analysis on the feature film, pointing to the narrative as one of the most bizarre in the entire DC Extended Universe.

According to the report, when Diana (Gal Gadot) wishes the return of Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), who died in the previous film, the boy’s soul has a guy at a party. Only the heroine can see him and, moved by surprise, she kisses him, hugs him and “very implicitly suggests that she wants to sleep with the body of this stranger without his consent.” Does that make Wonder Woman a rapist? While the fantastic nature of this setting creates ambiguity in how viewers may choose to treat or describe [a cena], it is undeniably awful and the film does not seem to notice it ”.

Is that you? What did you think of the sequence?

The film has grossed more than $ 85 million worldwide so far, having aired in China and other territories over the weekend.

Brazil won the film’s fourth box office in the world, behind only China, Taiwan and Thailand, even with just 70% of the free-show market in the country. This reaffirms the strength of Brazilian productions and DC fans in the country, adding to several recent box office records with films such as “Joker”, “Aquaman” and “Justice League”.

Following the announcement of the opening, Warner confirmed that the third film in the franchise is in development.

“As fans around the world continue to embark on Diana Prince’s adventure, with the powerful opening of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, we are thrilled to be able to continue her story with our real Wonder Women – Gal and Patty – who will return to complete the long-planned film trilogy, ”Toby Emmerich, chief of Warner Bros., said in an official statement.

Gal Gadot returns as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman and Patty Jenkins returns to write and direct the film.

As an archaeologist, Diana, who works at the Smithsonian Museum, is a Wonder Woman with extraordinary superpowers and perhaps the most powerful heroine in the world. In 1984, Wonder Woman faces frightening mortal danger in the face of a huge conspiracy from businessman Max, who sings loudly to satisfy people’s desires, and a mysterious foe, the Leopard Woman. Will Wonder Woman be able to stop the world from collapsing on her own?

The cast also includes Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal.

The ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ post is accused of bringing about a plot with SEX ABUSE, which first appeared on CinePOP.
