Recently, Netflix added the Western drama ‘Relatos do Mundo‘ to the catalog, which follows the journey of a war veteran experienced by Tom Hanks as he traveled aimlessly.

As usual, Hanks manages to woo audiences due to his simplicity as he recounts various adventures through the cities of the American West.

The plot takes on a more sentimental tone when it crosses paths with Johanna (Helena Zengel), a girl who has been taken in by natives of the Kiowa tribe. From there, he takes on the mission of returning the young woman to her biological uncles.

On social networks, several Internet users praise the functionality because of the performance of the duo and the sensitivity towards Paul Greengrass.

Check out the reactions:

World Reports is such a good movie. There is so much for her to discuss, but at the same time, the only desire is to feel the vibration of this light end.

Simple, simple and very beautiful. “Relatos do Mundo” is one of those films whose journey you can already imagine, but which still touches the heart. There is on Netflix.

“Relatos do Mundo” (2020): It’s always a pleasure to see Tom Hanks in trouble, who shares the screen here with a phenomenal mini-actress. The storyline feels bloated, constantly seeking new difficulties on the road in artificial ways, but the result ends up being kind and loving. 3/5 #netflix

Five years after the end of the Civil War, Three War Veteran Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd (Hanks) travels from city to city to tell stories, share news and his adventures around the world. As she passes through the state of Texas, she crosses paths with Johanna (Helena Zengel), a girl who has been taken in by the Kiowa people. Kidd takes on the mission of returning the young woman to her biological uncles, but as they cross the American West, they find themselves facing great human and natural challenges.

Luke Davis signs the screenplay, based on the eponymous novel published in 2016 by Paulette Jiles.
