‘Young Rock’: Dwayne Johnson’s youth series gets its first behind-the-scenes image

Dwayne Johnson’s new youth series, titled “Young Rock,” won its first official behind-the-scenes image.

Shared by the actor via his official Instagram account, the photo brings him alongside production designer Nahnatchka Khan, reviewing some information about the project.

In legend, The Rock also reflected on how much care the two take to every detail of the new series, to honor the real people who have been a part of their journey throughout their youth.

“Excellent working week on the set of our new TV series, Young Rock, coming soon to NBC. I work closely with the creator of our series, Nahnatchka Khan. She’s a brilliant (and very funny) creative partner, whom I trust with my crazy life story. We value every word of every character because all of these people are real, my family is real, and they are still in my life, in addition to those who have passed away. It has to be genuine and we have to do it right. The good, the bad, the movement, the movement and the hilarious. I can’t wait for you to watch this series ”.

Entitled ‘Young Rock’, the production will feature 11 episodes presented by Johnson himself, who will tell his first steps in a relaxed and humorous way until he became a Hollywood star.

“The program will showcase Johnson’s story as he grows in life. It will be a biography written by Nahnatchka Khan, she is a brilliant and sensitive screenwriter, ”said Paul Telegdy, president of NBC Entertainment.

In addition to writing the screenplay, Khan (“Fresh Off the Boat”) will also serve as executive producer, alongside Hiram Garcia, Jeff Chiang and Jennifer Carreras.
