‘Young Rock’: Dwayne Johnson’s youth series gets trailer and premiere date

Star Dwayne Johnson’s seriously youthful biography titled ‘Young Rock’ won its trailer and debut date.


Production will begin its journey on the NBC broadcaster on February 16. The inaugural episode of the series will be followed by the premiere of the series “Kenan”, by famous comedian Kenan Thompson (known in Brazil by the sitcom “Kenan & Kel”).

“Young Rock” focuses on different chapters in Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong, resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of its pro wrestling community, to football at the University of Miami, the series will explore the crazy roller coaster that made Dwayne the man he was. he is today, along with the great people he has met along the way ”.

Dwayne Johnson, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui star in the series.

“Young Rock” is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

The production will feature 11 episodes presented by Johnson himself, who will recount his first steps in a relaxed and humorous way until he became a Hollywood star.

Nahnatchka Khan (‘Fresh Off the Boat’) signs the script for the series and takes on the role of executive producer, alongside Dwayne Johnson, Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Jennifer Carreras.
