On Twitter, Dwayne Johnson posted the first full trailer for “Young Rock,” an NBC series that will explore the star’s childhood and youth.
The production will feature 11 episodes, which will present his first steps in a relaxed and humorous way until he becomes a Hollywood star.
As the video makes clear, the series will be narrated in a series of interviews Johnson conducts as he prepares to run in the 2032 U.S. election.
The scenes also show three other time periods highlighted in the plot, between 1982, 1987 and 1990.

Dwayne Johnson, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui star in the series.
“Young Rock” is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Nahnatchka Khan (‘Fresh Off the Boat‘) signs the script for the series, in addition to assuming the role of executive producer, alongside Johnson, Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Jennifer Carreras.
