“When ‘Young Rock’ returns to the past, the show gets a lot more fun – thanks to the unusual creation of Johnson, who is somehow still identifiable, in addition to his cast filled with instantly likable actors. – Jen Chaney, New York Magazine / Vautour

“Noisy as his aspirations may be, three episodes of ‘Young Rock’ have left no clue of who Johnson is – just what he wants. Maybe it can be your vote someday, but right now it’s your attention, and it can be hard to feel it deserves it ”. – Daniel D’Addario, Variety
